A shared adventure 

Driven by an unprecedented French-Italian partnership, the Lyon-Turin project brings together institutions, businesses and thousands of dedicated professionals. Together, they are working to create a sustainable rail infrastructure that serves the regions and supports European mobility. 

The main focus of the project

The Lyon-Turin rail line will take one million heavy-duty trucks off the Alpine roads between France and Italy each year, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 1 million metric tons of CO2 equivalent.
