Building together a major European infrastructure
Together in Europe
The cross-border section of the Lyon–Turin rail link, part of the Mediterranean corridor, is co-financed by the European Union under the CEF programme dedicated to the development of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T).
Through this support, the EU reaffirms its ambition to build a “European metro”: a modern, sustainable and interconnected network structured around nine major corridors designed to improve transport flows and accelerate the transition to low-carbon mobility.

Our institutional partners
TELT works with French and Italian territorial institutions involved in the governance and integration of the project within their respective regions.
These collaborations support the progress of the construction works, cross-border coordination, and engagement with local residents and businesses.
Associated institutions:
Auvergne–Rhône-Alpes Region
Piedmont Region, Territorial Agreement (Patto per il Territorio)
Lyon–Turin Démarche Grand Chantier
Our academic and scientific partners
TELT collaborates with several French and Italian schools and universities to support innovation, applied research, engineering education and scientific progress in the fields of tunnelling, mobility and environmental challenges.
Our economic and industrial partners
TELT draws on the most advanced international expertise in civil engineering, excavation, construction supervision, innovation and sustainable development.
Between 2021 and 2023, international tendering procedures made it possible to select leading companies for construction and engineering. They were chosen for the technical quality of their proposals, their ability to meet deadlines and budgets, their environmental commitments, and their responsible recruitment policies.
Economic partners and professional networks
Pacte PME
An organisation promoting cooperation between large corporations and SMEs, focused on monitoring, networking and innovation. It brings together major players such as SNCF, RATP, Airbus and Thales.
MEDEF Savoie
A network of companies in the Savoie region, acting as a key interlocutor for public institutions and a driver of local economic development.
Démarche Grand Chantier
Maintaining territorial integration
The Lyon–Turin project benefits from the French national “Grand Chantier” approach, a rare framework designed to support the territorial integration of major infrastructure works.
Its objectives are to anticipate construction impacts, facilitate the inclusion of companies and workers, support the local economy, structure training programmes, and enable local areas to fully benefit from the opportunities created by the project.
